City Hall Park, looking north from Broadway. This Park Theatre (the second) was a playhouse in Chatham Street. Its originally doors opened in 1798 and it was destroyed by fire in 1848. Chatham Street (now Park Row) is on the right. The New York City Hall opened in 1812. More: Broadway at Park Row Intersection ►
