Part of the balcony of the Tontine Coffee House (left), appears on the northwest corner of Water St.

The "Nesbitt" on the left was a printing business owned, since 1828, by George F. Nesbitt at 117 Water Street. Later he moved to the Tontine Building, across the street. Today, this site is occupied by the 29-story 100 Wall Street skyscraper, built in 1969.
