Almost 40 years after the Crash in 1929, the year of 1969 was marked by declining market prices and other Wall Street problems, but the stock market remained “orderly” that year. Dome Mines fell from its former high of 89 all the way down to 42¾ within a matter of months.
In 1969, Apollo 11 was launched from Cape Kennedy and landed on the Moon on July 20. The Beatles made their last concert. A mild recession in the United States began in November and ended by the late 1970.
