The RCA Building (now 30 Rockefeller Plaza), located between West 49th and West 50th streets, was completed in 1933. In 1986, General Electric incorporated RCA. It is one of the 14 original landmark buildings constructed by the Rockefeller family in the Rockefeller Center, an Art Deco complex of commercial buildings, situated between 5th Avenue and 6th Avenue in Midtown Manhattan.
The Radio City Music Hall, an entertainment venue and theater at 1260 Avenue of the Americas, within Rockefeller Center, opened in 1932.
