Jordan Map, Amman

The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan is a country in West Asia. It is bordered by Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Syria, Israel and the West Bank of Palestine. Jordan is slightly smaller in area than the country of Portugal. The Dead Sea is located along its western borders, and the country has 26 km of coastline on the Red Sea. Jordan has been an independent kingdom since 1946. The national capital is Amman.
