Lawyers' Title Insurance & Trust Co., East Side Broadway

Photo shows buildings on the east side of Broadway from Liberty Street, looking northeast. The 16-story building at 160 Broadway, home of the Lawyers' Title Insurance & Trust Company, on the left, was completed in 1908 and still exist. The buildings at 152 (Williamsburg City Fire Insurance Company Building) and 158 Broadway were acquired later by the Guaranty Trust Company of New York, that built its headquarters on the southeast corner, across Liberty Street, in 1912 (see photo on the right).
