The building at 196 Broadway housed the J.W. & C. Southack, cabinet furniture. The building at 192 Broadway, northeast corner of John Street, housed Chring, Druggist, replaced by the Atlantic Bank by 1857 or before. Corbin Building was completed on this site in 1889. The two-story building at 182-186 housed Dr. Christie's Galvanism (by 1852 or before, number 186 housed the Mercantile Bank, replaced by Chatham Bank by 1857 or before).
