The old New York City in the late nineteenth century. Image depicts hotels and shops on Broadway, east side, from 40th to 43rd Street. Hotel Vendome, later Hotel Continental, is located on the corner of 41st Street. Stuart's Hotel (Stuart House), became later Delevan House and Hotel Calvert.
