Grace Church from East 11th Street - 1903
Grace Church seen from East 11th Street. The cornerstone of the temple was laid on October 30th, 1843 and it was consecrated in 1846. James Renwick Jr. (1818-1895) was the architect. The old St. Denis Hotel is seen on the right. Photo taken about 1903 by Detroit Publishing Co. from the Library of Congress.
St. Denis Hotel is on the southwest corner of 11th Street, on the right.
