The view shows the Union Club at right, on the northwest corner of 21st Street. The club, founded in 1836, occupied this building from 1855 to 1903. The southwest corner of 21st Street is occupied by the 9-story Mohawk Building, at 160 Fifth Avenue, constructed in 1891 - 1892 on the site of the South Dutch Reformed Church, demolished to make way for this building.
The 13-story building at 156 Fifth Avenue, built in 1894, is on the northwest corner of 20th Street.
