Ansonia Apartment Hotel - Between 1902 and 1906
The Ansonia opened its doors in 1903 on Broadway, between West 73rd Street and W 74th St., Manhattan. The building was practically finished by the end of 1902. It was formally opened on February 7, 1903. The building, with Beaux Arts façade and a mansard roof, was designated a New York City Landmark in 1972 and, in 1980, it was inducted to the National Register of Historic Places.
