Hotel Albany Lobby, Broadway at 41st Street - Early 20th Century

 

Vintage postcard published in the early 20th century by Rotograph Co. N.Y.C. Original title: Hotel Albany, Lobby and Desk. Broadway and 41 Street, New York. Postmark February 22, 1909.

The nine-story Hotel Albany, was the former Vendome and later Continental, originally opened in 1882. The building was demolished in 1929 or 1930 to make room for the 42-story commercial building at 1450 Broadway.
