The New York Stock Exchange is to the right. The adjoining building, at 20 Broad Street, was replaced a few year later by a skyscraper. In the 20th century, Broad Street became a canyon of skyscrapers. After 9/11, 2001, most part of Broad Street and Wall Street was closed to motor vehicle traffic.
