This is the heart of the Financial District of New York. The Gillender Building, on the northwest corner of Wall Street and Nassau Street was completed in 1897 and demolished in 1910. The Wilks Building on the southwest corner of Broad Street and Wall Street, was completed in 1890 and demolished in 1920.
