Blair, Commercial Cable and NYSE Buildings on Broad Street - about 1903
The neoclassic building of the New York Stock Exchange, on the right, was finished in 1903 on the site of a former building of the same institution.
The 22-story Commercial Cable Company Building is the tallest building with a dome, in the center. It was designed by Harding & Gooch and completed in 1897.
The Beaux-Arts Blair Building on the left, corner of Exchange Place, was completed in 1903 with a white marble façade. In 1928 the building was purchased to be part of the expanding NYSE Building complex. It was demolished in 1955.
Both buildings were demolished in 1954/1955 to make way for a 27-story office building, now Twenty Broad, luxury rental residences.
