The Blair Building at 24 Broad Street, corner of Exchange Place, was built from 1902 to 1903. It was designed by architects Carrere & Hastings in Beaux-Arts style with white marble façades. In 1928 the building was purchased to be part of the expanding NYSE Building complex. It was demolished in 1955 to make way for the present 20 Broad Street. The Commercial Cable and NYSE Buildings are on the right.
Construction hole on the southwest corner of Broad Street and Exchange Place, at lower left, is the site of the 48-story skyscraper 30 Broad Street, completed in 1932.
