This is Times Square in a colorized postcard, looking down on Broadway, with the New York Times Building featured. The 7th Avenue is to the right. The Hotel Rector, on the left, opened in December 1910, at the southeast corner of Broadway and 44th Street. It was later renamed Hotel Claridge and demolished in 1972.
