Union Square East, Buildings

This is an enlarged fragment of the photo "Union Square - 1900", showing building on the Union Square East and some in Forth Avenue, now Park Avenue South, north from East 15th Street.

The old Union Square Hotel at 15th Street, is on the right. The Union Square Savings Bank Building at 20 Union Square East on the northeast corner of East 15th Street, was replaced by neoclassical building by 1907, now home of Daryl Roth Theatre, which opened in 1998.

12-story Parker Building, completed in 1900 and destroyed by fire in 1908.
