Miami, Florida - Tourist Attractions

Miami is the seat of Miami-Dade County and the largest metropolitan area of the state of Florida. It grew rapidly in the 20th century because of its resorts and recreational assets, along the Atlantic coast. South Beach has some restored buildings that represent some of the best art deco architecture in the United States. Additional tourist attractions include the Freedom Tower, Miami-Dade County Courthouse, the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, the Miami Seaquarium on Virginia Key, the Parrot Jungle in Miami and Fairchild Tropical Gardens in Coral Gables.
