Bolkenhayn Apartments, Fifth Avenue - 1905
The 7-story Bolkenhayn Apartments building was built in 1895, on Fifth Avenue, corner of 58th Street. It was named after a town in Germany. In the early 20th century, it was also used by Hotel Savoy. The building was designed by its owner Alfred Zucker. It was demolished in 1926 to make way for the Savoy-Plaza Hotel.
