Murray Hill Hotel, Interior Architecture

Design of the in foyer and marble stair of the old Murray Hill Hotel, located on Park Avenue, between 40th St. and 41st St., in NYC. The electric chandeliers were of polished brass, and studded with crystals. The hotel, opened in 1884, was designed by architect Stephen Decatur Hatch.
