Murray Hill Hotel on Park Avenue - about 1910
The 7-story Murray Hill Hotel was located at 112 Park Avenue, between 40th and 41st streets, in Manhattan. It was designed by architect Stephen Decatur Hatch for Hugh Smith and completed in 1884. In 1936, the hotel was leased by the Grand Union Hotel Management Corporation for ten years. It was demolished by 1948. The 100 Park Avenue building was completed on the site, in 1949.
