St. Denis Hotel - 1914
These three photos were taken on the same day July 12, 1914, by the same photographer Morris Rosenfeld (1884-1968). Source: NYPL.
The six-story St. Denis Hotel in Manhattan opened in 1853 and was expanded twice, about 1875 and in 1891. The St. Denis Hotel Co. had a petition in bankruptcy filled against its owners in 1913. The hotel was closed in 1917-1919 and transformed into an office building. It was demolished in 2019.

St. Denis Hotel, opposite Grace Church, is on the southwest corner of 11th Street, on the right.
