Vanderbilt Hotel on Park Avenue - about 1960
Vanderbilt Hotel opened its doors in 1912 on 4th Avenue (Park Avenue after 1924), designed by architects Warren & Wetmore, and closed in 1965. The lower façade of the hotel was stripped away and the building was converted to residential apartments and offices.
