Temporary Arch on Fifth Avenue at Twenty-Third Street, New York City for the Military Parade, April 30, 1889. The centennial celebration of the inauguration of George Washington. Photograph published in the History of the Centennial Celebration of the Inauguration of George Washington as First President of the United States by Clarence Winthrop Bowen (1852-1935), published in 1892 by a committee of citizens of the City of New York, whose active work began on November 10, 1887.
