Photograph published in the History of the Centennial Celebration of the Inauguration of George Washington as First President of the United States by Clarence Winthrop Bowen (1852-1935), published in 1892 by a committee of citizens of the City of New York, whose active work began on November 10, 1887.

This is the junction of Broadway and Fifth Avenue, with Worth Monument in the background and the Madison Square Bank Building, behind it.
