Park Avenue and the Hotel Ambassador - 1951
Street view, looking north, showing the old Hotel Ambassador (between 51st Street, and 52nd Street) and other buildings on Park Avenue, including Ritz Tower, on the corner 57th Street. Hotel Ambassador was sold to Sheraton Hotels, in 1958, renamed the Sheraton-East and demolished in 1966. The 345 Park Avenue skyscraper was completed on the site, in 1969.
