Lever House building, a 307-foot-tall glass-box skyscraper at East 53rd St., completed in 1952 is on the right. The Racquet and Tennis Club is behind it at 370 Park Avenue, between East 52nd and 53rd streets. The New York Central Building, completed in 1929 at 46th Street, is in the distance, in front of the MetLife Building, former Pan Am Building.
The Citibank Building, at 399 Park Avenue, is on the left. It was completed in 1961 and occupies the entire block between Park Avenue and Lexington Avenue and 53rd Street and 54th Street. The Seagram Building is the next skyscraper to the south at 375 Park Avenue, between 52nd and 53rd streets. It was completed in 1958.
