Original title: Broadway, South from John Street, New York. Photograph published by Geo. W. Griffith, Philadelphia. Source: stereograph card collection at the Library of Congress.

Photo can be dated between 1901 and 1910. The American Exchange National Bank building was completed in 1901 on the northeast corner of Broadway and Cedar Street. The building with a clock tower on the left is the Old Mutual Life Building, completed about 1873 and demolished before 1968. The block between Liberty and Cedar streets is now occupied by the 140 Broadway skyscraper.
