Photograph was probably taken about 2000 or 2001 when the old St. Moritz on-the-Park, opened in 1930 at 50 Central Park South, was under renovation. It was acquired in 1999 and renamed Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park, when reopened in April 2002.

Trump Parc is on the left. It was opened in 1930 as Barbizon Plaza Hotel at 106 Central Park South. The 37-story Hampshire House at 150 Central Park South also opened in 1930. The Art Deco Essex House was completed in 1931 at 160 Central Park South.
