Central Park - New York City
The Central Park is the largest public park in Manhattan, New York City. It was planned in the 1850s, partially opened in the 1860s and officially opened in 1876. The Park includes playgrounds, fountains, monuments, lakes, a zoo, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, an ice-skating rink, an open-air theatre, the Conservatory Garden, named for the glass conservatory that was built on the site in 1899 to offer seasonal plant displays to the public, the Cleopatra’s Needle and several other attractions.
