Church of the Holy Trinity  1874

 

The Episcopal Church of the Holy Trinity in 1874, the year it opened for public worship. It was located on the northeast corner of Madison Avenue and Forty-second Street. It was built of bricks of various colors, arranged in Mosaic decoration. The temple was demolished after 1895. The current temple of the Church of the Holy Trinity is located at 316 East 88th Street, between First Avenue and Second Avenue in New York City. It became an independent parish in 1951.
