Hotel Astor, New York - About 1910

 

Hotel Astor on Broadway, between 44th Street and 45th Street. Astor Theater is on the right (enlargement below). The proprietors Muschenheim brothers leased the land for William Waldorf Astor. The 11-story Hotel Astor opened on September 9, 1904 on Times Square area, then Longacre Square. The building was fully completed about 1910 and there was a garden on the roof.
