Demolition of Hotel Bristol from 42nd Street - 1929
Photo shows the old 8-story Hotel Bristol on Fifth Avenue, seen from 42nd Street (entrance to Public Library), in demolition on December 4, 1929. The site was cleared in January, 1930, to make way for the 60-story Art Deco 500 Fifth Avenue.
