Hotel McAlpin, New York - 1912
The Hotel McAlpin was erected in 1912 by Edwin A. McAlpin (1848-1917), with 25 floors and it was considered to be the largest hotel in the world. It was directed by Lucius M. Boomer (1878–1947) that also run the Old Waldorf-Astoria from about 1918. It is located near Herald Square, at 1282-1300 Broadway corner of 33rd Street, currently as Herald Towers.
