Hotel Savoy in New York - about 1892
The first Hotel Savoy with horse drawn streetcar in front of it. The hotel was opened in 1892 on 5th Avenue, corner of 59th St. and its expansion to the right was under way by 1893. Hotel Netherland is to the left, across 59th Street. Bolkenhayn Apartments was erected on the corner of 58th Street in 1895.
