Grand Central Station and Hotel Manhattan on 42nd Street - between 1900 and 1904
The old Grand Central Station and Hotel Manhattan on 42nd Street. In the distance, we can see Hotel Bristol and the spire of West Presbyterian Church. The station shown in this photo is a 1900 reconstruction of the former Grand Central Depot, which opened in 1871. The station was then replaced, in 1913, by the Grand Central Terminal.
