The Bankers Trust Company Building (in the neoclassical style topped by a pyramid), 16 Wall Street at Nassau Street was completed in 1912. It replaced the Gillender Building, completed in 1897 and demolished in 1910.

The 40-story Equitable Building, completed in 1915, occupies the block between Broadway, Pine, Cedar and Nassau streets. It was erected on the site of the old Equitable Building, destroyed by fire in January, 1912.

The 23-story New York Stock Exchange Annex (11 Wall Street), on the southwest corner of Broad and Wall streets, was completed in 1922 on the site of the old Wilks Building, completed in 1890. The adjoining NYSE building was completed in 1903 on the site of The first permanent home of the NYSE opened in1865.

The Beaux-Arts Blair Building, on the corner of Exchange Place, was completed in 1903. It was purchased in 1928 to be part of the NYSE Building complex. It was demolished in 1955.
