Times Building under Construction - 1904
The Times Building and the New York Subway under construction, 1904. The cornerstone of the building was laid on January 18, 1904 and it was completed in the late of the same year. It was built of terra-cotta and brick, with granite base. Times Station opened to the public on October 27, the same year. The subway Times Station opened to the public on October 27, 1904. The Rossmore Hotel was erected in 1876.
