The Loew's State Theatre at 1540 Broadway (on the right) is showing the film Red Dust, starring Clark Gable and Jean Harlow, released October 22, 1932. The Coca-Cola ad with Santa Claus shows that Christmas is coming. This theater opened in 1921 and closed in 1987. It was replaced by the Bertelsmann Building. The Palace Theatre, a Broadway landmark at 1564 Broadway, is on the right.
