Fouquet’s New York, Greenwich Street

The Hotel Fouquet’s New York is located on a quiet cobblestoned street at 456 Greenwich Street, on the northwest corner of Desbrosses St. and bounded by Washington St., in TriBeCa, Lower Manhattan. This 97-room hotel opened in 2022 and is operated by the French hospitality group Barrière Hotels, the first of the brand in the United States.

The site was formerly occupied by a car parking facility. Foundation work of the hotel was in progress in 2017 and the hotel was expected to be completed in the summer 2018, but the owner CBCS Washington Street LP filed for bankruptcy. The project, developed for the international luxury hotel brand, Le Fouquet's, managed by France's luxury operator Groupe Lucien Barriere, found new investors and the hotel opened in 2022.

The building was designed by architectural firm Stephen B Jacobs Group. The red-brick hotel's exterior was inspired by the area's old warehouses and harmonizes with the other surrounding buildings. The elegant interior was designed by Martin Brudnizki, who also designed the interior of the Fifth Avenue Hotel. Brudnizki used pastel tones, refined materials, and Art Deco–inspired furniture.

The hotel houses the subterranean Spa Diane Barrière, with a small pool, a 100-seat screening room, fitness center, the Titsou Bar, lounge, the Le Vaux Rooftop restaurant.
