Mark Hotel
The Mark Hotel is located at 25 East 77th Street, on the northwest corner of Madison Avenue, Upper East Side of Manhattan, NYC. It opened for the first time in 1927. It is owned by the Alexico Group and has 106 rooms (47 suites) and about 42 co-op apartments.
This 16-story luxury hotel was built in 1927 in the Renaissance Revival style, designed by Schwartz & Gross. The building was purchased by Izak Senbahar of Alexico Group and Simon Elias in 2006 and it was closed in 2007 for a grand renovation by architects Spivak Architects. The building's interiors were reimagined by French designer Jacques Grange. The hotel reopened by 2009.
Hotel facilities include restaurants and bars, health club, meeting rooms and more. It is close to Central Park, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Fifth Avenue.
