Millennium Premier and Broadway Times Square
The Millennium Premier Hotel New York Times Square, at 133 West 44th Street, and the Millennium Hotel Broadway Times Square, at 145 West 44th Street, are two connected hotel towers operated by the Millennium Hotels and Resorts, a Hong Leong subsidiary of Singapore-listed global real estate company City Developments Limited (CDL), which owns the property.
The historic Hudson Theatre, flanked by the two towers, is also part of the property owned by CDL. The original 48-story tower west of the theater was designed by William Derman and Perkins & Will, and opened in May 1990 as Hotel Macklowe. The lobby has a passageway connecting two entrances on 44th and 45th streets.
CDL Hotels acquired the property about 1994 and renamed the hotel as the Millennium Broadway in October 1995, with Millennium & Copthorne Hotels operating the hotel, with 626 guest rooms.
The 22-story building, at 133 West 44th Street, east of the theater was erected on the site of the old Guild Building. It was designed with 125 units by Stonehill & Taylor and opened in 1999 as the Millennium Premier. It is adjacent to the old Gerard Hotel (now AKA Times Square), another NYC landmark.
The Millennium Times Square New York was affiliated with the DoubleTree brand of Hilton Hotels & Resorts from 2019 to 2021.
Facilities in the hotels include a conference center, business center, restaurants, bars, fitness center, sauna, lounge, meeting rooms and much more.
The two hotels are in the heart of the Theater District and Times Square stores, Midtown Manhattan. It is near the Bryant Park, New York Public Library and Fifth Avenue.
