Conrad New York Downtown
The Conrad New York Downtown is a luxury hotel located at 102 North End Avenue, Lower Manhattan, near the Hudson River. This 463 all-suite luxury hotel opened in 2000 originally as the Embassy Suites New York.
The 14-story hotel was designed by Perkins Eastman Architects with interiors by Jill Greaves. It has a 2-story base of grey granite. Above the base, the facade is mainly clad in red brick. A large strip of green glass rises above the main entrance to the top, enclosing the atrium, which reaches almost the entire height of the building.
Goldman Sachs bought the property, the hotel was renovated and renamed in 2012, after the brand Conrad.
The facilities include the Loopy Doopy Rooftop Bar, ATRIO Wine Bar & Restaurant, gym, meeting rooms, business center and more.
