Hyatt Centric Wall Street
The Hyatt Centric Wall Street New York, former Andaz Wall Street, is housed in the 75 Wall Street building, with main entrance on Water Street. The hotel with 253 rooms is managed by Blue Sky Hospitality.
The 75 Wall Street is a 43-story mixed-use skyscraper in the Financial District of Lower Manhattan. It was designed by Welton Becket & Associates and developed by London & Leeds as an office building, which was announced in 1984 as the North American headquarters of British bank Barclays. The building opened in 1987. JPMorgan Chase acquired 75 Wall Street from Barclays in 2005, and the Hakimian Organization and Peykar Brothers Realty bought the building later, the same year. The upper floors were converted into 346 residential condominiums in 2009, while the lower floors opened as the Andaz Wall Street hotel in January 2010. This renovation was designed by SLCE Architects.
In January 2022, Hakimian sold the hotel portion of the building to Navika Capital. Hakimian retains ownership of the condo section of the building. The hotel rebranded and reopened as Hyatt Centric Wall Street New York on January 26.
The hotel include spa, fitness center, meeting facilities, the restaurant Wall & Water on the 2nd floor, the Centric Bar & Grill on the mezzanine floor and more. The 75 Wall Street is just steps from the waterfront, retail shops, renowned restaurants, ferries and subway hubs.
