The old New York City in the late nineteenth century. Image depicts buildings and shops on Broadway, east side, from 27th (right) to 29th Street (left). The old Sturtevant House, completed in 1871 and demolished in 1903, is on the left. Hotel Breslin (now Ace Hotel) was constructed on the corner of 29th Street in 1904.
