Fifth Avenue, Central Park - 1930

 

Fifth Avenue and the Grand Army Plaza, looking north from 57th Street. Central Park is on the left. Buildings under construction are: 745 Fifth Avenue (right) and Hotel Pierre, on the corner of East 61st Street, both completed in 1930. In between, the Savoy-Plaza and the Sherry-Netherland, both completed in 1927.
