Western Union Building, 60 Hudson Street - 1931
View of Western Union Building at 60 Hudson Street from side adjacent to subway tracks. This building was designed by Ralph Thomas Walker of Voorhees, Gmelin & Walker and constructed from 1928 to 1930 in Art Deco style with 24 floors, 371 feet (113 m) tall. The building is bounded by Hudson St., Thomas St., Worth St and West Broadway. In 1991, it was designated a landmark by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission.
