Western Union Telegraph Building on Broadway

 

The old Western Union Telegraph Building at 195 Broadway, corner of Dey Street. It was completed in 1875, renovated from 1890 to 1892 and demolished about 1914. It was replaced by a new 29-story Western Union Building. Photograph published around 1885 (after 1882), originally a stereoscopic view, looking southwest.
