Hard Rock Hotel New York, West 48th St, Midtown Manhattan

The Hard Rock Hotel New York is located at 159 West 48th Street, between Sixth and Seventh avenues, in the Theater District, Times Square area in Midtown Manhattan. It opened in 2022 with 446 rooms.

The 36-story rectangular reinforced concrete, 442-foot-tall building, was designed by SLCE Architects and developed by Extell and Hard Rock International. It was constructed from 2020 to April 2022. The façade on West 48th Street is made of reflective floor-to-ceiling glass panels above a multi-story podium, which is clad in stone paneling with an irregular grid of tall, narrow windows. The interior was designed by Jeffrey Beers International. The hotel is decorated with musical motif is most spaces and there is live music most nights of the week.

Hotel facilities include the RT60 Rooftop Bar & Lounge, on the 34th story, Body Rock fitness center, meeting rooms, NYY Steak and Session, an all-day restaurant with an open-air terrace, a performance studio and entertainment hub called Audacy Live and a two-floor space called The Venue on Music Row.
